Yoga Class Descriptions
BEGINNER LEVEL CLASSES (ALL LEVELS WELCOME)
HAPPY HOUR YOGA with rotational instructor – A balanced whole mind, body, spirit practice for all levels, modifications offered. An easy, fun and relaxing way to end the week! You will leave with a relaxed and renewed energy. Each week the instructor will rotate bringing variety and exploration to each student’s practice.
YOGA I with Matt or Amy - Beginner-friendly yoga moves designed to help you foster proper breathing, restore body alignment and strengthen the core. Find flexibility and strength with simple, yet effective yoga poses. Blocks, straps and blankets are provided for modifications if needed.
YOGA, BREATH AND MEDITATION with Amy – Find a deeper self awareness as you are guided through breathing techniques and yoga poses to prepare the body for meditation. The class begins by warming up the body with movement, then moving into breathing exercises and ending with contemplation and meditation. This class is dontation based and free to all participants with gift of item for the local food shelf.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CLASSES (PREVIOUS YOGA EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED)
SUNRISE YOGA with Amy – Cultivate an energizing breath as your body moves through a series of yoga poses to naturally align the body as you calm the mind. Sunrise Yoga will invigorate the body and create a peaceful center to prepare you for the day’s events ahead.
YOGA II with Matt – Continuing from Yoga I, this class is for students who have an understanding of their personal strengths and limits and are ready to increase the depth of their practice.
ADVANCED LEVEL CLASSES (PREVIOUS YOGA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)
POWER YOGA with Matt – An advanced yoga class for students who have been practicing yoga faithfully for an extended period of time and have acquired a solid understanding how to practice within their personal limits.
